Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale govern every order placed on photographycheatsheets.com. By checking the acceptance box at checkout, you confirm that you have read and accepted them. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the day you place it.

1. Who you are buying from

We are a French company selling to customers worldwide. Nothing in these terms removes any protection that the consumer law of your own country of residence gives you.

2. What we sell

We sell digital products only: PDF documents you download. There is no physical product, no shipping, and no subscription. A purchase gives you the files described on the product page at the time of your order.

3. Prices, currency and taxes

Prices are shown in US dollars and are the prices in force at the moment you place your order. We may change our prices at any time, but a change never affects an order already placed.

Any sales tax, VAT or import duty required by the law of your country is added at checkout where applicable, and shown before you pay.

4. Placing an order and paying

Your order is complete when payment is confirmed. Payment is processed by Stripe through our checkout provider SureCart. Card details are entered directly with the payment provider: we never see and never store your card number.

We may refuse or cancel an order in case of suspected fraud, a payment dispute, or an obvious pricing error.

5. Delivery

Delivery is immediate and electronic. As soon as payment is confirmed, you receive an email containing your download link, normally within a few minutes. The link also remains available from your customer account.

If nothing arrives, check your spam folder first, then write to us — we will resend your files.

6. Refunds

Because our products are digital files delivered immediately, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds for change of mind. You accept this when you complete your order.

This does not apply when something is wrong on our side. We will replace your files or refund you in full if:

• you never received your download link and we cannot deliver it to you;
• the files are corrupted, unreadable, or materially different from what the product page described;
• you were charged twice for the same order.

Use our contact form within 14 days of your purchase, describing the problem. We answer every message and we would always rather fix a problem than leave you with a file you cannot use.

7. How you may use the files

Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the files for your own photography practice. You may read them on your devices and print them for your own use.

You may not resell, share, publish, redistribute, or make the files available to others, in whole or in part, whether free of charge or not, and you may not use them in paid teaching material without our written permission.

8. Intellectual property

All content we sell — text, diagrams, photographs, layout — is protected by copyright and remains the property of STUDIO 538 or of its respective rights holders. Buying a product transfers no ownership of it.

9. What we promise, and what we do not

We take real care with the accuracy of our content, and we correct mistakes when they are pointed out to us. That said, photography depends on your equipment, your subject and your conditions: we cannot guarantee any particular result from using our products.

To the extent permitted by the law that applies to you, our liability in connection with a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The updated version applies to orders placed after it is published, never retroactively. The date at the top always tells you which version you are reading.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

Before anything else, please write to us: nearly every problem is settled by email in a day or two.
